A Boulder resident for over 25 years, Portia moved from Southern California to join her husband, Chris, in Boulder where she enjoys the outdoors and assisting her extensive network of family and friends with their real estate needs. She is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about Chautauqua and North Boulder and has successfully sold numerous properties in these neighborhoods over the past 15 years.
Following a career in advertising and marketing, Portia decided to pursue a new profession: real estate. She started her real estate career in a boutique office located in downtown Boulder, where she gained valuable experience working as an assistant to one of Boulder's most successful female Realtors. She played an integral role in selling some of Boulder's most prominent properties.
In 2007, Portia decided to build her own business. Her background in advertising and marketing, along with her many contacts in the Boulder community, helped launch her success.
Portia brings years of building relationships, conducting research, developing marketing plans, and creating advertising collateral to complement her real estate business. With over 20 years of valuable insight and expertise, Portia meets the needs of savvy buyers and sellers by effectively and creatively marketing listings to the right audience at the right time.
When not selling real estate Portia enjoys hiking, skiing, snowshoeing with her husband, spending time with friends, and her black labrador retriever, Cooper. She also likes to cook and entertain, and to spend vacations on beaches and the slopes.
With a passion for philanthropy, Portia co-founded Holes of Hope, an annual golf tournament held at Lake Valley Golf Course in Niwot. All net proceeds are donated to the Boulder Community Hospital Foundation for use by the Tebo Cancer Center. In the past 12 years, the event has raised over $470,000.
